A view of a residential area flooded by heavy rains, with some areas receiving as much as 18 inches in a 24-hour period in Boulder, Colo., Sept. 14, 2013. U.S. Soldiers with the 2nd General Support Aviation Battalion, 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, assisted state and local emergency response efforts under the Immediate Response Authority. Colorado and Wyoming National Guard units were activated to provide assistance to people affected by massive flooding along Colorado’s Front Range.
