Annenberg Learner to Sunset on July 1, 2026
To our Learner community,
Since 1981, Annenberg Learner has had the privilege of providing free educational resources to teachers, students, and families around the world. Together, we have built an extraordinary legacy, one rooted in the belief that excellent education should be accessible to all. The Annenberg family and Foundation are deeply proud of the impact Learner has made in classrooms and homes for more than four decades, and the Foundation continues its work providing support in various sectors of education.
We write today to share that Annenberg Learner will be sunsetting at the end of the school year. This means the content will no longer be supported or available online. Learner.org will remain accessible through June 30, 2026 and will go offline beginning July 1, 2026. We know many of you depend on these resources in your teaching practice, and it is important to us that you have ample time to prepare for the end of this program.
For decades, Annenberg Learner has supported educators, students, and lifelong learners through high-quality educational programming and teaching materials. The program will be archived through The Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands in the Sunnylands Archives for future research related to the Annenbergs’ legacy of educational programming.
It has been an honor to support your work and to witness the countless ways you have brought Learner resources to life for students of all ages. On behalf of the Annenberg Foundation, thank you for making Learner a part of your teaching journey.
