Share the wealth by assigning tasks for learners to complete their projects.

Relying on previous lessons, students set out in the engineering design process by setting and executing a plan of attack to design a tower.

OBJECTIVE: Learners engage with setting a plan and executing it to be successful.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Set out roles that you will be responsible for at various stages of the tower design and build.
  2. Set and agree upon the assignment of each role and stay true to them throughout the building process.
  3. Identify your individual role, and ask clarifying questions to understand your position.

ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS:

  • Which tasks are you assigned to?
  • What will you be responsible for?
  • What are some questions you have about the tasks you are responsible for?
