Devise a method of reflecting on the engineering process through the use of journaling.
Relying on engineering, communication and record keeping, students use a method of keeping track of their design progress. Use engineering logs to keep a tangible record of everything that is done within the design project.
OBJECTIVE: Learners learn reflection by keeping track of their process in an engineering log.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Use this log during the tower design build.
- Keeping track of your process and modifications will help support your overall product.
- Make sure to reflect on each design decision.
ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS:
- What did you learn about your materials as you constructed your tower?
- What might you have to change in your design?
- Why might you have to make those changes?
