Robins rested overnight in the pine trees lots and were chirping at dawn. They ate Brazilian peppers, whatever they could find the lawns- luckily where they were is not treated. They bathed in eight large flower pot saucers in the yard. About 8:30a.m.they began leaving, first a few at a time, then in large numbers. Going northerly. Some headed East as well. By 10a.m. most were gone. Then about 3 p.m. another more waves arrived but not as many as the day before. They bathed and watered up.Some left before dusk. Others appeared to be roosting in the pine trees. By 9am the next day they were gone. About noon on driving about 4 miles into town, there were flocks of robins flying about overhead. heading north!!!
