Whooping Crane

Date: 04/16/2008

On April 16 Cranes #706, #712 and #713 continued north towards Michigan's Upper Peninsula, but Anna lost their signals south of the Michigan border, partly because of bad roads and partly because the cranes were able to travel so fast because of the south wind (It was VERY strong today!!!) Since the cranes were ahead of Anna, they may have continued into the Upper Peninsula.

Note: We are estimating the cranes' location as somewhere near the WI/MI border.
