In this section, you will apply what you have learned to your own teaching. The three activities are designed to assist you in developing resources for your writing instruction. Choose one or more of the activities from the list below.

Assess Your Writing Program Review your current writing instruction, then implement new writing routines from ideas generated by the workshop participants.

Develop a Mini-Lesson Identify topics for writing instruction and develop one into a mini-lesson.

Create a Handbook Collect literacy resources for each workshop session in a Handbook for Effective Literacy Practices.
