In watching the first video and read the articles, books bins are mentioned.
Books are sorted by genres, themes, etc. How important is this
organization? I have tired it in the past but they didn't stay organized for long. I
thought I had modeled and taught the expectation but my 35, 2nd graders repeatedly
mixed them up.
I am wondering if I should have the children sort the books and set up the
system again. This way they would have ownership. I'm sure it could help with
time management and getting books into the children's hands faster. Help! Any
ideas?
