WHAT YOU NEED:

plastic cups
paper towels
beans

WHAT TO DO:

Wet paper towels. Place bean between folded wet paper towels and plastic cup. Keep moist.

WHAT NEXT . . .

It is so much fun to watch bean sprouts. The children enjoyed this experiment. They each had their own cup and were responsible for keeping their towels wet.

OTHER COMMENTS

They took a kit home to extend and make "the next move" with their families.
