Adzuki bean taken from bag planted in the uppere central region of the cup. |
After moistening the soil aduki bean was uncovered by water. Seed coat was seen starting to split. Recovered with soil. |
Root of sry adzuki bean seen arcing into left side of cup. Sprout still curled up with cotyledon still inside seed coat. |

After moistening soil for second week no detection of seed growth. |
Dug up planting spot, did not find any physical remains of dry mung bean. |
