You might read the book, Creating Highly Motivating Classrooms for all
Students by Margery B. Ginsberg and Raymond J. Wlodkowski. They present a 4
part framework for creating motivating, inclusive classroom environments and
lots of structures/activities for classroom and staff development
activities.

I also recommend the book, THe Passionate Teacher, a Practical Guide by
Robert L. Fried. It is a great book with many, many hands-on, practical
things to do in your classroom.
