[Teacher-talkhswriters] rubrics

Hi, everyone.

Concerning rubrics, I was given a workbook called Writing Well. I like the way it is set up. It includes revising, and working with a partner or group, just like we have seen in the videos. Each chapter tells the story of an adult student who worked hard to achieve success. Then each chapter includes a rubric specifically for that activity. They start with paragraphs and go on to include letters, stories, and tributes. The rubric for tributes includes the purpose as showing that “Writer’s admiration shines through.”

This workbook is from New Readers Press from 2006.
