I do the same thing only at the beginning o a new student session! I do a crash course on the GED Essay (mostly for those that will not be with me for long because they entered the program at a high level) and I incorporate the rubric. This also helps the lower level students because I use the rubric with every new group and it becomes a review for the lower level students that have been attending.
