My name is Mary Lou. I teach 8th grade US history. I also do a 5 week Latin America geography/culture session. I agree that the class and videos are very well done. I have made use of the volcano/earthquake lesson of Latin America that is part of this teaching geography class.
Concerning the Latin American session, I have to cover a lot of material quickly. We are also doing an amazing race type of activity to supplement regular classes. The kids compete in groups and earn points based on information gathered from research done on the countries.
