In case you're trying to find photos like these, you can actually get
aerial photos based on a location on http://www.mapquest.com these
days (though you have to log-in), and from
http://www.terraserver.com, which has the whole earth in satellite
photos! Today on terraserver, in fact, on their homepage they have a
link to a photo of the Iran/Iraq border.
