I have seen it and yes the students have responded to it as well. The only other experiment I completed that was similar was seeing how much salt it will take to make an egg float and understanding why it happens.

Have you ever seen the egg experiment on Malcolm in the Middle or Full House? The kids have. They enjoy trying to see if their egg will survive the plunge. Easy to do and FUN too.
