David H. Watters David H. Watters is the director of the Center for New England Culture and a professor of English at the University of New Hampshire. He has directed summer teacher institutes on Nathaniel Hawthorne, Robert Frost, Native American studies, and New Hampshire history. His research and teaching interests lead him to graveyards and other historic features of the New England landscape. He is the co-editor of the forthcoming Encyclopedia of New England Culture. David is featured in Workshop 7: Ritual Artifacts.
