Lois Leveen - Advisor has taught courses in multicultural American literature at UCLA and Reed College. She has designed and delivered professional development workshops on teaching with technology and on addressing race in the middle school, high school, and college classrooms. She is an editor of The Heath Anthology of American Literature and a primary investigator in the Visible Knowledge Project, a five-year national study on educational uses of information technology. In addition to serving as a lead academic advisor on Artifacts & Fiction, she contributed materials to this guide, the Web site, and appears in the computer lab segments of Workshop 5: Domestic Architecture and Workshop 8: Ceremonial Artifacts.
