Can you judge an object by its shadow? In this activity you will be asked to determine if a shadow can be produced by a particular shape.

For example, suppose you had a shadow that was a square.

A cube could cast that shadow.

So could a triangular prism.

But a sphere could not.

Can you predict what shadows a cube can cast?
