Host Hanne Bauer gives adults the confidence they need to help children learn math concepts through games and activities. Each video focuses on a single math concept and shows how everyday items such as beans, buttons, coins, and string can be used to practice and improve sorting, estimating, and other basic math skills.

VOD1. Unmasking Math
Encourages children to develop math and social skills by doing daily chores such as setting the table, sorting toys, tableware or socks, and playing games of chance. (Also available in Spanish.)

VOD2. Guessing
Shows the importance of estimating to develop logic and flexible thinking, as well as problem-solving and decision-making skills. (Also available in Spanish.)

VOD3. Patterns, Patterns, Patterns
Alerts children to recognize, classify and organize a range of patterns in clothes, numbers, songs, floors and nature. (Also available in Spanish.)

VOD4. Numbers
Children learn to identify ages, measure, place items in order, and understand how numbers can be used to mean different things. (Also available in Spanish.)

VOD5. Measure for Measure
Using string, toothpicks and other household items, children see how big or little, long or short, tall or wide everyday items can be. They also learn different measuring systems in cooking, estimating clothing size and other activities. (Also available in Spanish.)

VOD6. Time and Money
Enables parents to teach their children important math concepts while playing games that show how money and time are used in our daily lives. (Also available in Spanish.)

VOD7. Taking a Chance
Makes it easy to learn decision making by encouraging children to collect information about a situation, compare choices, then decide whether or not to "take a chance." (Also available in Spanish.)

VOD8. Shapes in Space
Shows how shapes help us describe what we see and touch, and better understand the world around us. (Also available in Spanish.)
