Since the start of 2014 North America has seen numerous significant weather events, according to NOAA. These include snow, wind and ice storms...and drought. By January 31st, almost 50% of the contiguous U.S. had snow on the ground. While this seems to be enough snow, some mountains in the western regions, which provide a crucial water source, have snowpack totals less than 50% of normal.
What impact will all these weather conditions have on test gardens?
