| Red Emperor tulip bulbs had a difficult time in the Test Garden in Anchorage, but other tulip varieties are up and blooming. At the Alaska Botanical Gardens spring weather has delayed plant growth as much as 2-3 weeks this year. The news on June 5 is that some tulips have begun to bloom!
