Observations in the Test Garden:
Inspiration from Georgia O'Keeffe

Test Garden observations have turned into art at Washington Heights Elementary in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Mireles and her 3rd grade students share their project.

"First we read a biography about Georgia O'Keeffe.  Then we looked at some of her paintings of flowers on our poly-vision board.  Next, we went outside and sketched our tulips.  Then we came back inside and picked our favorite sketch to enlarge on bigger paper.  We used mostly pastels to complete our project.  Thank you so much.  Our room looks like an art gallery."
