Finally our 45N tulips have emerged! Could our location in the middle
of the continent have anything to do the late arrival? After some
snow over the weekend, the weather today is 37 degrees and sunny.
Nearby there are other types of tulips and daffodils that are much
taller. There is also a purple crocus in bloom.

Our 45N tulips have bloomed! Temperatures have ranged from the 80's
to the 30's so we are happy to see the Red Emperors have survived
the extremes.
