All Eyes on the Bloom
These 2 pictures were taken of the same group of flowers on the same day. There is so much to see here: 4 tulip flowers, all different sizes. One tulip flower is tightly closed. The tulip leaves are very green and the tulip flowers are red and orange. We see green grass. We see some dirt and some dead grass. The sun is shining: we can see the light and the shadows. What else did you notice? What time of day is it? This picture was taken in the morning!
Now: the flowers have all opened except for one. The flowers now have black and yellow centers. They're much bigger than before. The shadows have changed. They look shorter. One of tulip's shadows is completely in the picture. What time of day is it? This picture was taken in the afternoon!
