Telling Time with Shadow Sticks A Schoolyard Investigation They shadow seemed to move and change length! Every hour until 1:00, another small group of students went out to mark off the shadow. Each time they measured its length with rulers. Then they wrote the number on a data sheet. They also wrote down other observations. What did they conclude? How did they explain their findings?
