Babies in the Bush! Can you tell that they're hiding in the grass and weeds? There are dangers on the ground, too! The babies are clumsy because they don't have their full wing feathers and long tail feathers. Without those feathers and strong muscles, they can't defend themselves from hawks, foxes, cats, and other predators. They "know," by instinct to hide from danger and keep quiet. (That is, until they're hungry!) How do you think their bodies help them blend in and hide?
