Robin on a Mission! What we observed: This robin has something like straw or grasses in its beak. Flowers are blooming. The branches look bare and the grass is short. Image: Wayne Kryduba What we assume: The robin is gathering nesting materials. It must be spring. No eggs have been laid yet. What we wonder: Is this a male or female? If it had mud in its beak, it would probably be a female. Both gather nesting materials, but mom builds the nest.
