Robin
on a Mission!
|
What
we observed:
- This
robin has something like straw or grasses in its beak.
- Flowers
are blooming.
- The
branches look bare and the grass is short.

What
we assume:
- The
robin is gathering nesting materials.
- It
must be spring.
- No
eggs have been laid yet.
|
|
What
we wonder:
- Is
this a male or female?
If it had mud in its beak, it would probably be a female. Both
gather nesting materials, but mom builds the nest.
If we saw bold stripes on its throat, we would assume it's a male.
