Monarch Larva Monitoring Project
Studying Monarch Distribution and Abundance

The Monarch Larva Monitoring Project involves citizen scientists from across the United States and Canada in monarch research. Volunteers collect data on monarch butterflies and their habitat. The overarching goal is to better understand how and why monarch populations vary in size, with a focus on monarch distribution and abundance during the breeding season.
