GMT,
Time, and Roost
Using Eagle Transmitter Data to Determine
Roost Locations
Night
roosts are some of the most critical habitats to wintering
bald eagles, especially in severe winter weather, so we like to isolate
those for mapping purposes to look for patterns of regular/annual
use,
so we can pursue protection of those sites if needed.
The
colored column contains data as it looks when it comes from
ARGOS. Practice converting GMT to EDT. You figure out if it falls between
18:00
and 6:00 EDT.
