The Eastern flock spends winters in Florida. The young cranes are led to two National Wildlife Refuges. Since 2001 they have been taken to Chassahowitzka ("Chass" for short). In 2009 St Marks NWR became a winter home when the pilots brought half of the new arrivals there and the other half to "Chass." Let's visit Chass!
