Teacher Guide

This is biologist Brian Johns. He watches over the natural flock of Whooping Cranes each summer in Canada. This flock has nested in Canada's vast Wood Buffalo National Park since just after dinosaurs disappeared! Brian was on an important mission. Look closely at the photo and see if you can guess. What do you see on the ground? What equipment does Brian have? How did he get here? You'll soon find out.
