Media Literacy Studies: Poster Contest

Each student designed an "advertising poster" for Operation Migration as a Media Literacy assignment. Before we sent the posters to Operation Migration for judging, I photographed the students with their posters. We just received a nice letter from Liz in the OM office. We had asked her to choose the top entries from Grade Two and Grade Three. The winning entries are shown being held by the artists that created them: Natasha (Grade 2) and Patrisha (Grade 3). The letter announcing OM's finalists is below, too.
