The young cranes exercise their wings by flying.

No test flight was needed to know that today is too windy to fly. The team is calling this state WIND-sconsin, where they are up to Down Day 8 in Green Lake County. The young cranes will be let out of their pen for some welcome flying and exercise. Let's hope they can leave before the birds start thinking of Stopver #1 as their new home!
