No Go. Whoa, Wintry Winds (+0 Miles)
January 10, 2010: Migration Day 79

Down-day #3 in Decatur County, Georgia
Photo Chris Gullikson, Operation Migration

A crisp Saturday turns into a frigid Sunday, but the winds roaring aloft blew away any hopes for flying today. But there's hope for tomorrow as the cold front moves away and the winds drop. If tomorrow is flyable, they'll reach the first stop in Florida!

SEE THEM LEAVE: The departure flyover viewing location for Decatur County, GA is outside of Climax, GA on Bell Dixon Road, just east of where it is intersected by Fewell Road. Click here for map You should be in place by sunrise (approximately 7:30am)— and remember: it all depends on the right weather.
