Whose trike is this? See the code >>
Photo Operation Migration

The pitter patter of raindrops before sunrise let everyone know that migration day 27 would be another down day. From her RV in Operation Migration's camp, Liz Condie predicts: "If the system over top of us does as the weatherman predicts, we'll also be spending tomorrow here in Winnebago County, IL." But you'll have some fun with our photo-quiz journaling questions!

In the Classroom

  • Today's Journal Questions:
    (a) Whose ultralight is in today's photo? You can figure it out by reading the letters on the side of the trike. Learn more and take our photo quiz: Who's Flying These Ultralights?
  • (b-for-bonus) If you were an ultralight pilot for the migration, what letters would you choose for your license plate? Why?

Journey North is pleased to feature this educational adventure presented in cooperation with the Whooping Crane Eastern Partnership (WCEP).
