Following a high of nearly 60º early in the day, heard my first-of-the-year spring peepers from a wetland area adjacent to a soccer field where I was attending a night game. The air was quickly cooling off, so their choruses were few and spaced far apart, but it was still very much music to my ears as I eagerly await spring 2013!
