sap is running but not yesterday or today...warm rain last night..still snow in the bush...water on the ice on the big pond...AND...the sweet song of a red winged blackbird singing in the cedar trees behind the house...+2C outside and a mix of sun and cloud today...soooo good to hear the song that welcomes in the new season. more rain and cold weather forecast for the next four days. i will get up early tomorrow to listen for more!!
