Robins and Rain
Robins are very often first seen with a weather system that brings rain. When the rain comes at the same time the snow is melting, the worms come to the surface of the saturated ground to avoid drowning, and the robins have a banquet.

"Looking out our classroom window, we saw 5 or maybe more robins flying back and forth from the trees to the playground. It is raining, 47.3 degrees."
