The Butterfly Forest
Millions of monarchs migrate to the high mountain forests of central Mexico. The trees contain so many butterflies, the branches bends under their weight. Scientists were astonished when they discovered the monarch's spectacular winter habitat. Since 1975, they have been studying to answer the same question we'll explore this season:

  • What conditions make this habitat ideal for the monarch's winter survival in Mexico?
