Symbolic Monarch Butterfly Migration

Dear Friends,
Our class received Symbolic Butterflies that were cared for this winter by a Mexican student named Desiree Uribe Mendoza. The butterflies spent the winter in Mexico clustered with butterflies from 5 states and Mexico.
Here are the schools where the butterflies we received came from:
Irvin Elementary School in Concord, NC
Spectrum School in Rockford, IL
Virginia Run Elementary School in Centreville, VA
Spring Valley School in San Francisco, CA
Cathedral Carmel School in Lafayette, LA
Butterflies came from these students in Mexico:
