Dear Friends,
Our class received Symbolic Butterflies that were cared for this winter by
a Mexican student named Alma Arladna of San Javier, La Martinica, Mexico.
They spent the winter in Mexico clustered with butterflies from 14
different states and provinces in North America.
Here are the schools where the butterflies we received came from:
Menomonie Middle School in Menomonie, WI (Tara)
Hermes Elementary in LaGrange, TX (Monica)
Rock Creek Forest Elementary in Chevy Chase, MD (Students)
Fulton Elementary in Ephrata, PA (Bobby)
Wilmington Children's Museum in Wilmington, NC (John)
Kimball Elementary in Kimball, MN (Rick, Courtney, Chelsea, Catherine)
Memorial School in Bedford, NH (Willie, Allison)
Freedom Intermediate School in Franklin, TN (Jason, Alec, Taylor)
Chestnut Log Middle School in Douglasville, GA (Katie)
Mellen, WI (Maggie)
Huffman, TX (Daniel)
Foothill Elementary in Boulder, CO ( Hazel, David, Izzy)
Please send us e-mail so we can give you Alma's mailing address. You will
probably want to tell Alma they did a great job taking care of the
butterflies!
Sincerely,
Teena Foster's Grade 5 Class in Sprinfield, New Brunswick, Canada
