    Dear Students,

Our class just received Symbolic Butterflies traveling on their Journey North. Your butterflies spent the winter with Maria Josephina Tellez Reynosa, a 5th grade girl at Bartolome de Medina in Mexico.

Many of your butterflies traveled a really long way and I'm sure that if they could talk they would have many interesting stories to tell. Here are the schools where the butterflies we received came from:

Petersburg Elementary School in Petersburg, WV
First Luthern School in Torrance, CA
Harol Napper School in Brossard, Quebec, Canada
Portal Elementary in Cupertino, CAThackston School in Knoxville, TN
Ervin Middle School in Kansas City, MO
Middlesettlements Elementary School in Louisville, TN
      Juda School in Juda, WI

Our letter from Maria was full of interesting information about her interests and school. If you would like to thank her for her care of your butterfly, send us an e-mail and we will send you her address.

Con mucha alegria, deseamos que sus mariposas tengan una vuelta ilesa.

    Con cariņo,

Mrs. Elwell's 6th Grade Science Class
