Charleston Arkansas is a small town just east of Fort Smith,
ARkansas on Hwy. 22. We have 2,500 people in the city limits.
Our elementary is small. Three classes of each grade with a total
of 75 students in each grade. Our school planned, raised money
and built an outdoor classroom just a couple of miles from our
school at Charleston Lake. We have a stage with benches,
butterfly garden, and are in the process of building a dock on the
lake. We planted milkweed last year. Monarchs visited out
garden, laid their eggs, and we enjoyed watching the caterpillars
    grow!

Our Gifted and Talented classes grades 3 - 6th have been
participating in Journey North for 4 years. We have enjoyed
reading your notes. Your butterflies are really neat! Some of us
plan on writing to you this summer.
