    Dear Butterfly Lovers:

Warner Park Nature Center in Nashville, Tennessee received your symbolic
monarch butterflies on Tuesday, May 2nd. They were cared for by a 4th grade
Mexican student, Gabriela Jacqueline Montes de oca, at Matilde Acoste. Her
address is Unidad Jamos de platerco G10, No. 43,
Mexico DF 01480 (I hope that address is correct-it was a bit difficult to
read.) She likes to watch television and her family enjoys eating tacoo
    enchilados and pechuga mole.

The Warner Park Nature Center is a city park with public programs, school
field trips and 2,683 acres with 12 miles of hiking trails, eight mile of
horseback trails and 26 miles of paved roads. One of our main research
projects is bird banding. In fact, Saturday, May 5 we will have a public
bird banding day where over 200 Park visitors will come and watch research
in action. Not only are we interested in the migration of butterflies, but
    also neotropical songbirds.
Your butterflies will be displayed that day and for a few days afterwards so
that park visitors may write you a note and I will forward the notes to
you-hopefully prior to your last day of school.

We received our package of 25 butterflies from:

Matt R.-St. Paul School, St. Paul, MN
Sam (who has two dogs)-Miss Lazarz's Home Group, Stillwater, MN
Marla, Ryan S. Danielle R. and Alison-Plymouth Middle School, MN
Harry S. and Matthew K.-Lewisburg Elementary, Lewisburg, WV
Keyton and Devin-Sandhurst Public School, Bath, Ontario, Canada
    Will-Mrs. Kemp's 1st Grade, Meaghan and Mrs. Connolly's 1st Grade-Bolton
    Center School, Bolton, CT
Ann B. and Lee S.-Vera Kilpatrick School, Texarkana, AR
Will P., Sierra D., Ryan E., and Rebekka S.-Westwood Elementary School,
    Greenwood, AR
Andy F. and Jessica S.-Brusan Elementary, Warren, AR
Regino A.-Clark Middle School, Vincennes, IN

Jacob's butterfly from his 2nd grade class at Remington Elementary, Tulsa,
OK was tagged by a student in the Monarch Sancuatuary Region in Michoacan,
Mexico-Jesus Mcyticezheloes (apologies to Jesus if his name is spelled
    incorrectly!)

Additionally, we received a beautiful butterfly made by Daniela Michelle
Monjaras Aleman which was tagged in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico.

We are looking forward to learning where our butterflies landed upon
    completing their Journey North.

    Sincerely,
Warner Park Nature Center staff and visitors
