How We Planted Our Garden

It took at least three days preparation and a lot of hard work. Our tulips were planted on January 5, 2007. Here are some of the things we did to plant our Journey North garden.

The soil was HARD- We needed a pick ax! Building the sides to hold good soil

We laid newspapers to keep down weeds. Lots of shovel work. Good top soil is essential. Journey North Red Emperor tulips planted Jan. 5 in the center of the bed.

This will be a dramatic welcome in the front of the school!   The first sign of spring!
