Hummingbird
nests are hard to find unless you see the female flying back and forth
in the spring. After all, they are barely as big as quarters! A mother
hummer usually builds a nest 10 to 40 feet above the ground in a tree.
She looks for a spot where a small slanting branch forms a fork and where
leafy branches above will shelter her young. Keep your eyes peeled! (Photo:
