This juvenile gray whale spent three weeks swimming in and out of Santa Barbara Harbor. It found food to eat. Sometimes it came right up to boats. "We've been careful to keep our distance. It's been fun to see," said Skip Abed of the Santa Barbara Sailing Center.

On April 5, 2007 the young whale left the harbor and continued on its journey north. The people will miss him!
