Is this a whooping crane?

No. This is a Great Egret (Casmerodius albus). Some people mistake them for Whooping Cranes. Great Egrets are slender white herons with yellow bills. They are three to four feet tall. Great Egrets feed in wetlands, shores and mud flats.
