Highlights: Here Come the Hummingbirds!
"I saw my first male Ruby Throat about a half an hour ago, " wrote Deborah Repasz from Houston, TX on Monday. The very same day, Hummingbird bander Nancy Newfield reported twice from Louisiana, one in Metairie and the other in Baton Rouge. Just like clockwork, the first ruby-throated hummingbirds appear each spring on the Gulf Coast. Get your feeders ready! The migration season is underway!
